The CNW SD50 #7009 leads two more CNW units thru the Grand Crossing Interlocker on a very cold winter morning. On a slightly warmer morning, CNW SD60 #8038 leads another #884 off the Black River Bridge and into La Crosse.

Due to Mississippi flooding, the Empire Builder detours on the CNW ex Omaha line. CNW Bay window waycar "Pulls Together" on an eastbound manifest bound for Adams from Altoona. GBW 308 2nd unit on Train #2, eastbounder tied up at Merrillan for beans. SOO GP in yard service. DM&IR 149 with its sister 138 in helper duty at Altoona.
