The inventory Cognitive Complaints - Participation (CoCo-P) was created based on a literature review, consultations with experts, semi-structured interviews with patients, and a quantitative study. The inventory was administered to patients with ABI ( n = 46), their relatives ( n = 33) and healthy controls ( n = 102) to finalize the inventory.

After brain injury, people can experience dificulties thinking, such as remembering or concentrating. These dificulties can impact daily life activities. Through this questionnaire, we would like to gain insight into any complaints you might experience and find out how these complaints afect your daily life. THIS QUESTIONNAIRE TAKES 15-20 MINUTES.

De Cognitive Complaints - Participation (CoCo-P) is ontwikkeld om ervaren cognitieve beperkingen te identificeren in verschillende dagelijkse situaties (bijv. werk, vrije tijd). Het doel van het huidige onderzoek was om de constructvaliditeit van de CoCo-P te onderzoeken bij mensen na een beroerte, traumatisch hersenletsel en tumorresectie.

In samenwerking met artsen, behandelaars, neuropsychologen en cognitieve psychologen van het UMCU, De Hoogstraat Revalidatie en de Universiteit Utrecht zijn we gekomen tot dit nieuwe meetinstrument. In het eerste project werd de CoCo-P afgenomen bij patiënten met niet-aangeboren hersenletsel, hun naasten en gezonde participanten.
