Nov 21, 2018 · Sorry to resurrect an old thread but got a C635, 2022 model, 50". I'm noticing color banding only in HDR. In SDR the colors blending together is unbelievable. Why is this only in HDR and around bright objects only like the sun on a clear sky? I'm using it for games mostly and notice it more in some games and less in others.

Nov 22, 2018 · The Optoma HD39 has a slow 2x non RGBRGB color wheel and is more likely to show RBE to those sensitive to it. The settings your changing to make it better are all what RBE sensitive people have recommended. A projector with a faster RGBRGB color wheel would help a lot but some people need to switch to LCD/LCOS if they are very RBE prone.
