D frame vs J frame???? - 1911Forum
2002年11月30日 · Colt's D frame is their equivalent of S&W's K frame. Though personally I've never shot any revolver other than a full size 4" K frame copy. I always wanted a 357 mag. Detective Special since I first heard of it. It may be their equivalent but it sure is a bunch smaller than the K frames. Now a Python, that's about K frame size.
