TV Stops/Starts All Channels My regular TV watching is getting pretty bad. And this is on top of the zDVR issues not being able to be played back, Why can’t Cox fix this issue? Why is it so hard to report issues. Why do they say it is not an issue when there are so many of us complaining. Cox is being paid well for its services.

I have a new Samsung QN95B Neo QLED TV and Samsung Q800 Soundbar with a Cox SCXI11BEI wifi cable box. All are connected by HDMI 2.1 cables. The TV detects and selects HDMI-eArc signaling between the devices as expected. I finally landed on a setting in the TV sound options that has resolved the dropouts completely.

Ask the Cox rep to calculate the prorated amount of your TV service you're due as a credit. You might want to jot it down on the receipt and ask the Cox rep to sign and date it. Take it home and file it where you can find it later, in case Cox says you didn't return their equipment or if you don't see the prorated credit by your second statement.

I again replaced the HDMI cable to the main TV set, only this time, instead of using the Cox provided cable, I purchased and installed a certified HDMI 2.1 cable from a third-party. In the 14 days since I installed the certified HDMI 2.1 cable there have been no instances of freezing, sound problems, or inability to respond to controller demands.
