2014年1月17日 · I’m assuming that this conversation is about Craftsman date codes. I’ve been all over the net just looking at these forums. I believe that some are correct and some are wrong when they date their machines. My Craftsman table saw is a 113.298761, so it’s made by Emerson. The date code is 92211.0470.

This list is only about Sears and their inventory. Sorry for the confusion. Rikon is the OEM of Craftsman band saws, another gem that seems overlooked.

2014年4月27日 · Every single saw my landlord owned are craftsman. Ciruclar saw, Table saw, Miter saw and tile saw. They all look like at least 10years old. But they all work great. I think they still make decent quality corded tools, but definitely not cordless tools. Like conductor said, there was a time when Craftsman power tools were some of the best out there.

2015年6月25日 · I sold my craftsman set to my brother last year and got a kobalt set from Lowes. Very happy with it. Nothing wrong with my 15 yr old craftsman set, just wanted a change. I like the markings better for sae vs metric and we dont have a sears anymore. We do have an ace though which still carries a good line of craftsman tools.

2019年12月2日 · After acquiring the Craftsman name,SBD is making an attempt to relaunch Craftsman as a midrange value priced brand similar to their Porter Cable brand for instance. That meant cranking out engineering and everything else for thousands of tools. So obviously they almost cloned the T-Stak, leaving Toughsystem as the Dewalt premium system.

I received a Craftsman 19.2 volt a couple of years ago as a gift. I was going to use this as my junk drill around the house. For the past couple of years I have left it out...

2018年8月17日 · Craftsman could specialize in automotive tools and saws while Porter Cable could offer routers and sanders. In a sense they already do this, as Dewalt and Mac use the same batteries; even so, Mac offered more options for automotive tools until recent years while never releasing things that a typical mechanic doesn't use professionally.

2021年4月15日 · A lot of new Craftsman tools are actually pretty respectable and you’d think sticking that name on a bunch of “Diet Dewalt” tools that perform as well or better than similarly-priced Ryobis should be a home run and yet...it hasn’t been. People just don’t think Lowes when they think of tools.
