Located in Pounding Mill, directly on 460, Cuz’s Uptown Barbecue is perhaps the most eclectic restaurant in the hills of Southwest Virginia. Founded in an old dairy barn the restaurant expanded the silo into private dining and the hayloft was renovated into a waiting lounge.

Cuz's is open from March to November from Wednesday to Saturday each week from 1 pm to 9 pm. We will be open for our 46th year starting on Wednesday February 26. Reservations are only accepted for parties of six or more. Cuz's is tucked into the far southwestern corner of Virginia, near the borders of West Virginia, Tennesee, and Kentucky.

Cuz's Uptown Barbeque has been around for 44 years, serving simple great food to the people of Southwest Virginia and to visitors from all around the world. Our menu spans the globe, from Indonesian satays to Mexican fish tacos to fried squash blossom grown right on our farm.
