CVSR offers a variety of trips throughout the year. It operates excursion trains, and in a partnership with the NPS, the railroad helps visitors access various parts of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The CVSR also co-operates with Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway (WLE) to operate on trackage south to Canton. [9]

2024年8月25日 · In 1994, the Cuyahoga Valley Line was reorganized as the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR), and they expanded their operations while upgrading their equipment with new ALCO and MLW diesel locomotives and Budd steel passenger cars.

Our stations are located from Independence to Akron, OH. The customer service office is located at the Peninsula Station, 1630 Mill Street in Peninsula and is staffed seven days a week from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Free parking is located near the stations.

2022年9月20日 · CVSR 15 (Ex-CN 6771/VIA 6771) is southbound in Brecksville, Ohio in August 1996. On the north end is CVSR 4099 (Ex-D&H 4099). CVSR 15 is a MLW FPA-4, and CVSR 4099 is an ALCO RS-3.

Tickets range from $15 – $35 per person. CVSR members receive complimentary tickets for the National Park Scenic excursion any day of the week. Passengers can catch the train at any of the three main boarding stations in Independence, Peninsula and Akron.
