Our stations are located from Independence to Akron, OH. The customer service office is located at the Peninsula Station, 1630 Mill Street in Peninsula and is staffed seven days a week from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Free parking is located near the stations.

CVSR offers a variety of trips throughout the year. It operates excursion trains, and in a partnership with the NPS, the railroad helps visitors access various parts of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The CVSR also co-operates with Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway (WLE) to operate on trackage south to Canton. [9]

CVSR 4241 is now the rear unit of the train. The northbound train heads downgrade into Cuyahoga Valley. CVSR train 63 passes a row of colorful trees at the Merriman Rd grade crossing. Armed with the knowledge that this train was due here at 4:00PM, I drove to Brecksville on this stunning spring day. First time I ever saw this unit.
