The d17a2 does use a different exhaust and 02 sensor. 04-05 uses a wideband sensor up top even though your car isn't that new you would have to look at the ECU to know what year it came out of (it might be looking for the wideband sensor). Then you still need to wire the vtec solenoid.

2023年2月9日 · My best guess is the IAC valve. If so it adjusts idle speed and prevents fast rev drop stalling (dashpot). I can't think of a way this would effect shifting right off. You might consider changing to the ecu/harness from a d17a2 so you get the vtec solenoid working. The cam figure w/o it is very mild. ..

2022年6月7日 · The engine in my manual 2001 Honda Civic ended up locking up. The d17a1 engines were hard to find and super expensive, I ended up finding a d17a2 in a 2004 civic for about 1k cheaper ($400) and bought it. It was on an automatic car but I installed the manual transmission and the iac sensor for the manual transmission.
