2015年4月29日 · The main difference is that A weighting rolls off the low end more so it won't pick up subs as much. Whether you use A weighting or C weighting for live sound measurements depends mostly on whether you're trying to wave your dick about how loud it is. C weighting reads higher because it picks up more sub. I do most of my measurements A-weighted.

2016年2月7日 · Not entirely true. Our ear sensitivity depends on the noise level, always going for dB(A) is a dumb industry standard as no one understands shit about acoustics. dB(A) is pretty accurate at low to moderate levels and dB(C) is a more accurate weighing method for high levels.
