2023年9月18日 · Even when I hold them in hands, DD cups always look so much bigger than D cups. It can still be a shape mismatch though, it often is with molded cups. I would say try more bras from different brands before committing. When you are truly in-between, the smaller size can give some cleavage while the larger size is usually more comfortable.

Cup size is the volume of boob that can be comfortably held in a bra. It’s relative to band size and definitely has a lot to do with bra size. I’m a 36G and on the huge size. The cups of my bras look like mixing bowls compared to the 36B bras my sister wears. Her’s look like salad bowls. Weird comparison, but it works.

With a typical +4 measurement, most bra shops would put her in a 34D, because they'd add four inches to the starting measurement, giving her a cup size that's much too small. Sister size for a 30FF would be a 34E -- and this is why most women are wearing a bra with a band size two sizes too large and a cup size two sizes to small.

Band size is just #1. Cup size is #2 taken away from #1 with every inch equalling a letter. 0.5 = AA 1in = A 2in = B 3in = C 4in = D 5in = DD Etc. So if under tiddies is 32 inches and over the tiddies is 36, the difference is 4in, so that's a 32D. Can also work it backwards. E.g. dancer Oti Mabusi

2018年12月4日 · A DD is a cup size smaller than an E (assuming you kept the same band size i.e and 32DD is smaller than a 32E). DDD is where it gets confusing, some brands don’t run that size (here in the U.K., anyway) so a DDD would be equivalent to an E. I would recommend trying both a DD and an E on for size so you can see which works best for you.

2021年8月15日 · Even online, I don't have my size (46DDD) available to be delivered in my country. I have used the calculator here and I'm quite sure of my size. I can extend the band size from 42/44 (which seems to be maximum available size here) by using bra extenders but DDD or F option isn't available. It's either DD or E.

You CAN have a large band size and a smaller cup size, and that doesn’t mean you just are having trouble believing the calculator size. ETA: the pushback against this size combo (band>36, cup<C) can come across a lot like shaming this body type, especially for women AFAB. As if cis-women simply “shouldn’t” have small cup size and large ...

2023年1月2日 · They are generally 2 different cup sizes. Some American brands go D E F and so on, so some retailers will list DD and E as the same for "less confusion", which is hilarious. In UK sizing, DD is the 5th cup size and E is the 6th. It might be easier for you to go by that instead.

2014年8月31日 · The cup size progression goes DD E F FF G. So your current bra is two cup volumes smaller than what was recommended for you. 34FF is a sister size of 32G which means they hold the same volume but are proportioned accordingly for different band lengths.
