2020年5月15日 · Of the two, I'd probably opt for the DDM4V7 (which is the upper I purchased). I suspect that the .54 lbs in weight you will save by opting for the V7 will make a far greater difference to you than the 1.5" or so in length you'd save by opting for the M4A1 in regular use, especially as all of that weight difference is going to be in front of the receiver.

2023年5月9日 · The DD V7 SLW is one of the finest rifles DD makes, very compact, 14.5" barrel and has a decent MLOK hand guard. I have one and really like it. The SLW comes with DD's version of a AR A2 flash hider, it is pin and welded to make the rifle 16.1" barrel length legal. I dont know of any suppressor that mounts to the flash hider.

2021年10月12日 · i set up a v7 Pro SPR style this summer. NF 4-16x atacr, RMR offset, white and IR lights. I like it a lot. I've always been a fan of 18" and rifle gas. Shoots pretty well. I will say the trigger that comes stock in the Pro is the SD3G, which is surprising to me.

2018年8月30日 · The V7 SLW is just about damn near perfect. For range and HD go with the 14.5. It will handle better and be more accurate than the 16” due to less barrel whip and the velocity trade off is negligible compared to the handling trade off in my honest opinion.

2023年11月10日 · There is a DDM4 V7 "Custom" that you can find online if you search. It comes in around $1600 if you look hard enough and comes with Magpul MBUS PRO sights, Geissele SSA trigger, and some grip panels for the rail. If you're dead set on one of those two rifles, I would find one of these DDM4 V7s.
