The Department of Financial Studies (DFS) is a department of the University of Delhi offering programs in finance. Tracing its roots in the Delhi School of Economics , the DFS was carved out of the Department of Commerce of the university in 1987 to provide training in the field of finance.

Since its inception, the Department has been grooming financial professionals who are well – equipped to serve the dynamic Indian finance industry.

Department of Financial Studies (DFS) Delhi offers a full-time two-year MBA (Financial Management) program. Candidates who have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks are eligible to apply in the MBA (Finance) course. Admission to the MBA program is offered on the basis of a valid score in the CAT Entrance Examination.
