Jun 5, 2012 · I got the inspiration using "dogs" from one of the Festool forums. The problem many had was how to make the holes parallel and accurate. Some invented great techniques solving the problem, but I wanted a simpler method. So I came up with this, a square with 25 holes accurately spaced according to the original MFT.

Jan 25, 2017 · The MFT top would give me the holes needed to square my track and fence to each other, and the side panels would give me the total area to support the work in process. The right side panel would also be easily replaceable when the saw kerf got sloppy - but you can flip it 3 times and get more use out of it too.

Sep 14, 2019 · A Festool MFT or Ron Paulk bench is a reasonable comparison, though neither is exactly what I'm building. The number of holes required is large, and this is an operation I'll likely repeat many times in the future, so speed and repeatability are very desirable.
