DRW mk 5 D.R. Warwick Imp. Bob Diggory (Shropshire) is in the process of resurrecting an Imp based mid-engined sports racer, built in 1964 by DR Warwick (ex-Lotus). He bought it in 1999 and finished returning it to its original 60's specification by the end of 2001.

DRW produced racing cars from the late fifties to the early seventies, mainly Clubmans, Formula Junior and Formula Ford. In total they built very few cars and only one of each mark. 2017年9月21日 · Hi! drw gerbox can be replaced with the erf gearbox, but you should be aware that erf gerbox has a tiny bit shorter gears. That means that car will be a little bit more sporty, and will probably drink a little bit more.

2004年4月7日 · I've received my DRW on the second day after it was shipped from UK. I did have to pay $36.00 for customs (there is no way around this one). It came in on the pallet with all parts securely strapped and shrink wrapped. I did the swap three days ago, so it is still fresh in my memory. I'd like to share some observations about the install.

2016年6月30日 · There are slight differences between the mk4 02M and the mk5 02Q. The tappings are different on the casing. 02Q doesn't have the speedo sensor on the differential. Shifter rod is a different design.

2003年12月9日 · 6-speed DRW and ERF are both good for up to 350Nm. I swapped mine because of regular 110mph+ runs across Germany (1000mile trips UK - Poland). This tranny and driveshafts are strong enough for anything you do to a TDI, not sure about TDI PD which has more torque when chipped.
