P.S. To clarify - I mean you have to multiply the damage multipliers. So if an armor piece has absorption A then its damage multiplier D is (1 - A/100). The best armor for a given weight and damage type has the lowest combined damage multiplier for that damage type.

It has the highest absorption and poise for the least possible weight. On the other hand, it looks like butts.

2016年5月8日 · Armor doesn't really matter so I don't recommend wasting too much time farming for it at least. Go with something that you think looks good. Your shield (if you use one) and weapon will be the ones that make a difference. Broadsword and long sword are some of the best early weapons since straight swords are incredibly powerful right now.

Some of the returning armor sets have changed a great deal in weight, like the Catarina & Smough's sets have almost increased by 50%. Havel's & Smough's in particular seem far too heavy for their stats.

2021年6月29日 · Armor can make a difference of like 1 or 2 hits in the endgame and if you have to level up vitality for it it takes points you would otherwise put into damage scaling stats or vigor. So it is mostly for fashion. It matters a little bit but not enough to wear armor you don't like. Always wear the armor you character looks the best for you in.
