2018年1月30日 · For the 40cr this means the channel volume is dimed and the master is adjusted accordingly. It's still fun with the gain all the way up, but I wouldn't really call it a "good" sound from either amp. At low rehearsal volumes both amps sound pretty good, but certainly different. The 40cr cut through more with clearer mids and highs.

2018年1月30日 · My, oh my. You folks must play a [I]lot louder at your church than we do!! I use a 12w tweed Deluxe and even that is isolated!! Make a joyful noise! I use an isolated booth in the back, I may just use the 40 as a pseudo head by plugging the isolated cab into the amp and disconnecting the speaker

2018年4月9日 · The 40CR is REALLY easy to bias. I’ve never biased an amp before until I bought the 40CR. All you need to do is unscrew 6 screws, pull the back off and use a meter to place probes into the test holes (1 black and 2 reds for each tube), read the meter and turn the dial for each tube to adjust. Takes a few minutes and super easy.

2018年1月30日 · 400 is pretty to low for a 40 dsl, my 40 c is at around 480 32 bias runs great at 60% Not all amps should run hot the dsl with mostly preamp distortion runs best at 60. Now the new maybe different. They sounded similar at the store at low levels
