2024年6月3日 · On this page you have a CSD waterfall for the DT 1990 Pro with the Dekoni Elite Velour pads that you say is "almost ideal." I'm considering purchasing the DT 1990 Pro with the Dekoni Elite Velour pads as well as the TYGR 300R acoustic-fleece discs to tame the treble (as you have commented that the DT 700/900 Pro X discs don't do enough).

2020年12月30日 · Compared to the DT-1990, the DT-990 sounds a bit muffled or "compressed". I don't know what mid-tones sound like or if the treble is the difference I'm hearing, but when I use the DT-990 it sounds closer to my closed-back headphones.

2024年6月3日 · don't remeber from where i picked that information up, or if this was ever adressed/confirmed by beyerdynamic. but, i bought the DT 1990 Pro early and i never found the treble to be all that elevated – certainly no comparison to the treble level of the DT 770 or the newly released 770 Pro X LE.

2024年6月3日 · It also peaks to 3% at 30Hz, while DT 1990 is at 2% at the same frequency. Not to mention if you add Amir's EQ to both that the ATH R70x needs 30Hz 10dB Q1.0 while the DT 1990 needs 23Hz 6dB Q0.68 which means that the R70x has worse bass extension into those low frequencies. EDIT: Just to add - since the comment claims no EQ.
