Danh Vo is a Vietnamese-born Danish contemporary artist known for his Conceptual Art addressing issues of self-identity and cultural heritage. Throughout his practice, Vo has used objects and documents that are representative of America or Western values to create emotionally charged sculpture.

Danh Vo studied at KADK-The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Denmark and at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, Germany. He’s been awarded with the Hugo Boss Prize in 2012 and the Blauorange Kunstpreis by the Deutsche Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken in 2007; 2009 he was nominated for the Preis der Nationalgalerie für junge Kunst in Germany.

Danh Vo transformed a recently acquired 1970s Fiat hearse into a mobile flower shop nomadically serving the people of Brussels. Danh Vo’s 'Tropeaolum' takes root in this greenhouse of metal, concrete, and stone to create a shifting territory where narratives become intertwined.
