I can burn a dvd disc on Windows media player, but can't get it to play on my regular dvd player. Is there a way to format a disc that will play on any player? I am using DVD +R disc to burn. And files from my computer of home videos from my camera, or photos of family. I would like to make a disc of family photos too, with a music back ground.

I just backed up some files on a DVD disc. When I put it back to my DVD drive and tried to view the files in Windows Explorer, I double clicked the DVD drive in Windows but nothing happened. I am new to Win 7.

I have been trying to burn a music CD with WMP. When I insert the disc it says MB remaining, instead of time remaining. The files burn to the CD, but seem to show up as data files instead of music. The burner burns DVD's fine, and has no problem burning data to a CD, music seems to be the only problem.
