The Nissan Cedric (Japanese: 日産・セドリック, Nissan Sedorikku) is a large automobile produced by Nissan from 1960 to 2015. [1] It was developed to provide upscale transportation, competing with the Prince Skyline and Gloria which were later merged into the Nissan family.

Powerful and virtually indestructable, it became the cornerstone to Nissan's radid expansion throughout the late 1960s and 1970s, and remained the primary engine series used by Nissan right into the mid-1980s.

The 31 Cedric has its 4 headlights arranged horizontally, unlike the first-generation with its vertical arrangement. This design lowers the body and creates an impression of greater stability. It was launched in November 1962.
