Ms. Anna Teo embarked on her entrepreneurial journey as the Founder and CEO of Hernan Corporation Sdn Bhd in 1996 with the mission to become the leading exporter of delectable durian treats.

Datuk Anna Teo is the founder and Group CEO of Hernan Corporation, an industry-leading food manufacturing and exporting enterprise based in Malaysia. Established in 1996, Hernan now exports and distributes dessert and bakery products, mainly made from durian fruit, to countries, including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US and China.

Anna Teo remembers the difficulties that she had to overcome to build up a RM40 million plus durian business under Hernan Corporation. “It wasn’t easy at all,” she said but she refused to let her gender fail her.
