2022年8月21日 · In my experience, players usually DC when they play against some super unfun add-ons and/or builds, sometimes to specifically make survivors suffer or it feels it's too strong (against solo players). Sometimes it's just due to certain killers they don't want to play against because it's not fun for them anymore (Plague, Nurse, etc).

What reason is there for DCing on death hook and not just waiting for the animation and the end match screen, wherein you can get all your BPs and, for those who DC on death hook after actually playing for the majority of the match, a possible pip). DCing is giving your teammates a big middle finger and doing a Cartman ("Screw you guys, I'm going home"). It's the equivalent of a child throwing a tantrum because the game (that they accepted to play btw, that's what you do when you press ready) doesn't go their way.

Unless you’re using a mori or map offering, something which would cause them to disconnect then it’s very likely the infinite load screen. You don't get penalised until the match starts - so when you load into the map. What if you load into the match, the camera does it's panning, then you're immediately brought to the post game screen due to a dc?

2023年8月6日 · Current penalty is an increasing timer that prevents them from starting a new match based on how many times they’ve disconnected in a certain timeframe (I think first is free, second is 5min, and it can go up to 48hours?).

2017年7月7日 · Very often this isn't "deliberate DCing" (or doesn't seem to be - the survivor's not in danger when they DC, and they display horrible lag before it happens). Not sure what's going on. They might be on the other side of the world from me, it might be an issue with DbD itself.

Imagine disconnecting on one of the most Survivor sided map in the entire game against a slow Killer. Why do everytime I play on this map, Survivors just DC left and right? My last game was against a Trickster with 2x BPS and still 2 people just DC right after they first down.

2022年12月25日 · It's pretty easy to use context clues to figure out why someone DC'd the second the Killer downed them. I understand that people's games crash, but there are many times where they are pretty clearly DCing of their own volition. "maybe they don't want to play against the current killer" And how is that a good reason to DC?

2021年7月15日 · If your teammate or survivor when you are playing killer dc’s everyone gets points, dcing removes 2 pips away from your rank and if the penalties are active it won’t allow you to play for 5 minutes
