PPG's single stage in the deltron line would be called dcc-concept It shouldn't be too much different then shooting chromabase, and most colors should cover pretty well in 2 to 3 coats-not always the case but usually.

2009年12月3日 · Maybe I am picking on PPG a little, not because it is bad material, but when guys take the path of least resistance with this popular line (using the easiest sanding primer, not paying extra to put hardener in the base) the long-term results can be disappointing. Using K36 and activated base coat vastly improves the quality of a job done with PPG.

The DBC allows me to use my SPI reducer I've been told, therefore my primers and clears will all be using the same reducers, and the clear activator will work in the base also..compatibility should be real good.

I sprayed the car with an epoxy primer, I used a base coat DBU blue and used DCU 2042 clear with DCX61 hardener. I put many coats of base and clear although I didn't count how many.

Which SPI clear should I use? UV, MS or HS. The HS sounds like overkill and trickier to spray. The UV in all of the pics I have seen looks awsome.
