2021年8月6日 · I can go into the NVIDIA control panel->Change Resolution-> and switch from "Use default color settings" to "Use NVIDIA color settings" and then switch output color depth to 10 bpc. But what does that actually switch to 10 bpc? I read that most things on windows will just stay 8 bpc, and almost all games use 8 bpc anyway.

2022年7月5日 · I also did a research on internet that HDMI 2.0 and above should able to support 10 bpc (10-bit per color-channel). I also ensure I did set the HDMI output of GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 to 10bpc on G15. However, my Dell monitor only shows 8bpc.

2023年2月7日 · Here is how to do it: Create a new "custom resolution" using CRU/NVIDIA/AMD (see other guides if you don't know how to do this). Make sure the resolution is 3440x1440, and set the refresh rate to 165Hz. Set the timing configuration to "Manual". Put the following values in "Total Pixels": Horizontal: 3520, Vertical: 1475.

Today i did a firmware update from the dell website. There is a fix for known HDR issues... After doing the firmware update, I can not get 144 herz 10 bit to work any more with creating a custom resolution. It changes to 8 bit everytime I press save. 120 herz - 10 bit works fine tho
