The German Labour Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront, DAF) under the leadership of Reichsleiter Dr. Robert Ley was set up immediately after the Nazi Party took power in 1933. The party declared all Trade Unions illegal and abolished them throughout Germany.

Here we have a DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront - German Labour-Front) Visor Cap Badge by RZM M1/52 (Deschler & Sohn, München). This would be appropriate for Leaders visor (with the bullion wreath) as the EM visor wreath is integral to the DAF insignia. It is constructed out of a die stamped cupal base that has been silver washed.

Today I am selling original German DAF PIN BADGE from WW2 era. The badge is made of aluminum. Poor condition – metal detecting find. The pin on the reverse side is lost. Maker marks: RZM M1/36. The German Labour Front (German: Deutsche Arbeitsfront, pronounced [ˌdɔʏtʃə ˈʔaʁbaɪtsfʁɔnt]; DAF) was the national labour organization of the Nazi Party, which replaced the various independent trade unions in Germany during the process of Gleichschaltung or Nazification.

An original DAF Deutsche Arbeitsfront (Labour Party) membership badge, constructed in die-struck nickle. The obverse of the badge depicts the DAF (Labour Party) logo. The reverse of the badge is marked with the RZM logo and ’63’ for Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, complete with a safty pin catch, with no damage or repairs in good condition.

In a very nice used condition a German Deutsche ArbeitsFront (German Labour Party) Female Leader badge for 'Kreis level staff' (Kreis-Betriebsfrauenwalterin) The badge is nicely maker marked on the reverse side by RZM M1/18 indicating production by Gold-und Silber-Scheide-Anstal from Oberstein a. d. N.

Tombac metal badge with soldered brass pin. Measures 19mm in diameter and 40mm pin. Marked RZM M1/35 for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida. Badge finished in fire gilt gold with matte finish with nice high polished features. This version was for DAF leaders and is a rare variant.
