The ICV Crew provide support to Incident Managers who control and coordinate the response to large fires. Duties include tracking crews and trucks on the fire ground, exchanging messages by radio, and preparing and printing documents and maps. Comprehensive training on a continuous basis is provided.

Local induction to be completed at Brigade/Local Government level. If no local induction exists, the DFES Volunteer Firefighter Induction may be used. Training Programs are a role-based training framework designed for progressive and safe training.
