This document specifies an automatic method for determining the flow pressure of lubricating greases at various temperatures and tempering times to be agreed. The method according to this document is suitable for testing greases at temperatures at which the sample does not automatically run out of the calibrating nozzle during filling.

To empirically determine the yield stress (pressure at which the grease starts flowing), consider DIN 51805 (Kesternich Technique) or K95400 (Lincoln Ventmeter). To empirically determine pumpability in moving greases consider LT-37 (Mobility of Greases).
