2022年7月12日 · There is huge variance in the quality and usefulness of Dinan parts. Some parts are made in China, some are American, and some are German. Some parts are great like ignition coils, others are total wastes of money like the M62 "performance" intake manifold, which is actually just a BMW factory original M60 manifold with a Dinan stamp on it.

I know but idc I still love this engine, my last one almost hit 210k while being driven hard in Texas heat most of its life. Anyways, even though I could probably save a few 100 cutting corners by re-using some stuff like plugs and coils.

2021年12月6日 · This Dinan intake is much quieter and you really only hear induction noise on hard acceleration/letting off after hard acceleration. For me this is perfect and I'm glad to have purchased it. For a lot of people it may be too quiet for the money.

2021年6月28日 · Awesome car! Keep within your budget and get familiar with warranties. If any tune is going to void your factory warranty, factor the new Dinan warranty length and the cost of that or those item(s) into your budget. Dinan is a great and reputable BMW tuner, but it never hurts to be ready in case something pops up that wasn’t planned.

2020年7月31日 · i had a 2012 328i that was Dinan stage 1. i had it upgraded when i bought it used at 7k miles. the dealership was Dinan certified so it just seemed safe. I had a timing chain issue that started wining and was definitely going as it got progressively louder. Most problems for the N20 engine, the timing belt was going at 75k-100k miles.
