2002年12月1日 · Infill is +10 to –20mm stone although contractor will ask soon to put in 20-40mm stone above the drainage pipe - availabiity of materials. Pipe will tap into a manhole at 75m spacing which will also collect water from depressed median drain. Then water goes out from manhole in a 200mm pvc pipe to daylight at embankment slope. Opinions sought !!

In the base of the channel (typically at one end of the pool) will be 1.5m long vertical drainage pipe/s into a tank (say 6" max. upvc). The channel can be assumed to be 400mm deep x 200mm wide.

2017年4月22日 · What is the purpose of this exercise. If you want the pressure for design purposes, assume 0 psia. Exterior pressures from soil or ocean water pressure make the contribution from the atmosphere relatively insignificant, additionally thinking that someday the pipe internal product pressure could easily be reduced to near 0 psig for maintenance or tie-in purposes anyway.

2009年7月20日 · I laid perforated pipe wrapped in a mesh sock (to prevent clogging) on 3 or 4 inches of gravel and then wrapped all of this in landscape fabric at the base of each wall. (I just finished the second wall.) I did not provide any weepholes and there is only one outlet for the pipe to drain. The walls are about 40 feet long.

2006年3月14日 · A steel pipe sleeve is the best solution. However, since you can't do that, a properly designed reinforced slab over the pipe is probably next best. Encasing an HDPE pipe in a block of concrete can create problems if the block settles under load - the differential settlement can shear the pipe where it enters/exits the encasement.

If condensate starts out with 53.6°F, that pipe outside temperature could be close to 60°F. But again, the owner gave you directions to apply insulation.
