The pitch adjust and the tonearm looks like the same as from the Dual CS510.I had both models and my impression was that the 510 sounds a little better than the 1246. by ecdarby. My first impression was that it was a little plasticy, but after servicing and setup with a signet tk5ea cart/ stylus, it is a great little turntable.

2014年4月7日 · The problem has been discussed many times and simply the inner sleeve of the speed pulley is stuck onto the rotor shaft. Have a look at the 1246 service manual (in the Dual library above) on page 5, Fig 4 "changing the drive pulley".

2019年8月20日 · The 1246 is far from a being a low end Dual. It is a very fine example of an automatic turntable. If it is in good working order, the 1246 will work flawlessly while maintaining a very wide soundstage. I am assuming the Dual has more features than the Rega, despite being roughly 40 years older.

2015年2月3日 · Well, Saturday I picked up my "new to me" Dual 1246. It is an upgrade from my 20+ ear old Realistic Optimus LAB-2250 Linear Tracking Turntable that I have had since new. I got it home and it wasn't a good first run: Start/Stop POP! (Knew about this) Auto Function not operating (Knew about this) Left Channel Audio Only (That isn't mentioned)
