2002年5月4日 · Ford Electronic Ignition was intro'd in 1973 and NOT called "Duraspark". It used a black-grommeted module, but really these modules all interchange by altering wiring connections. It can be hard now to find the original '73-'76 FEI module, but the DS II interchanges fine with a connection change.

Went to the car boneyard today and scored a 84 crown vic distributor, wiring harness and the control module from an 86 F-150. The base distributor is identical to my old one.

2016年8月24日 · This ignition module is about the size of a disposable cigarette lighter and can be easily hidden out of the way. I mounted it to a homemade heat sink. It works really well and I like it a lot over my old points distributor. If you Google "duraspark gm ignition module", there are many examples of people who have done this.

2015年6月14日 · I would question the pick up in the distributor from your description. Believe it or not the MSD one is a direct replacement for the good ol DuraSpark (plugs will not match actual DuraSpark parts) . I "killed" 2 replacement (BMC?) "DuraSpark" pick ups in less than 8000 miles ,replaced with an MSD replacement and had had no problems.
