Nov 30, 2019 · E3D is the code already used for 2019 productions. E5D, being a progressive number, one is expecting it relates to the MY2021 and the bigger battery. But according to the spreadsheet it's all way round. So, what on earth does it mean E3D & E5D? All i could come across is a generic "model" definition for internal use. Anybody knows better?

Nov 24, 2020 · E3D and E5D are still mixed up. How do EU owners confirm it's LG except the "document"? If it's true, do you know LG cells from China or US? Seems ineffective to transport LG pack from China to US to Europe...

Oct 15, 2019 · Does anyone know which cells are used in the Model 3LRs currently being shipped in Australia? I had read that there was a 5% improvement in the capacity of the ones (Panasonic?) used in the LR models going to Europe (giving a total pack size of 82.5kWHrs) but not sure if that is happening here.

Jan 25, 2021 · E3D = Panasonic US Pack For the Dec 2020 deliveries (from what I've gathered trying to find out what pack I've got); - SR+ from China got the E5D LPF pack, and those from the US had a mix of either packs. - Long Range from the US got Panasonic Packs (This was mainly US and RHD deliveries). And Long Range from China for Europe got LPF Packs.
