This set of idents were launched on 10th December 2007 as part of a full refresh of E4's branding.

E4 2007 – 2013 Branding On 10th December 2007, E4 was given new look, E4 senior producer Jason Delahunty said the new idents “needed to have longevity” but “retain something new for the viewer each time.

On 18th January 2001, E4 launched with 3 idents invading the current Channel 4 logo at the time. The E4 band went away on Monday 10 December 2007, New idents created by Noah Harris. On 31 October 2013, The idents are replaced by the new set of idents featuring a robot in form of the 2001 logo, Eefer.

A new look for E4 was launched on 10 December 2007. The new look consisted of a complete overhaul of all miscellaneous presentation and five idents using stop motion were introduced.

E4 (The E standing for Entertainment) was originally a pay-tv companion to Channel 4, aimed at 16-34 year olds which launched on 18th January 2001 . The new channel is seen by many as a direct competitor to Sky One, and BBC choice/three.

This particular E4 look was introduced to the channel in late 2007, and lasted through until 2013. Idents include a series of surreal scenes, all with a teddy bear popping up. From a month before the launch of the new E4, some of the launch branding for the new channel makes a short appearance on Channel 4.

A brand new set of idents were introduced in August 2004, featuring an E4 cheesy band. In 2006 Seven additional idents were added.
