2016年1月2日 · The shocks bolt to the subframe keeping the load floor flat (and are thus easier to change than rear shocks on an E46 wagon). The well sorted self-leveling air suspension (all 525/528 tourings with the sport suspension and all 540 tourings) is an added bonus.

2003年4月10日 · Also, be aware that rear shock installation is ten times more difficult in a wagon. ALL of the trim in the trunk, INCLUDING the C and D pillars must be removed. Make sure the install price is first, otherwise you could get in trouble. Add E46 M3 rear shock mounts, as well. The standard ones are very prone to cracking.

2020年3月10日 · Really clean E46's are getting harder and harder to find in northern states. With my car I'm planning an S54 swap so mechanical issues were not as big of a concern since the engine and most of the running gear will all eventually be replaced. There really aren't any major mechanical differences between an E46 sedan and wagon.
