The Ford EEC or Electronic Engine Control is a series of ECU (or Engine Control Unit) that was designed and built by Ford Motor Company. The first system, EEC I, used processors and components developed by Toshiba in 1973.

2024年5月31日 · I've ramped up on EEC-V vehicle support. Since you need a special firmware for the MPVI3 for these currently, new vehicle support will not be on our supported vehicle list. Once the release firmware includes the EEC-V fix, our support page will be updated.

2004年11月30日 · I agree, I believe OBD-II is disabled in EF/EL EEC-V. Hence we are able to produce error codes via flashing LEDs. AFAIK this is not possible on the AU "real" EEC-V. So EF/EL owners will need to go via J3. And I'm all for Aaron getting the 4DED dumped

2008年1月29日 · While the EEC-V is much more complicated it is 10x's easier to tune due to the power of control and the advanced datalogging capabilities. For the OBD-I cars the TwEECer/BE/EA combo is the best available IMHO and I've tried everything. For the OBD-II there are even more options but SCT's datalogging is absolutely amazing.

What It Controls: The computer will control fuel injection, ignition timing, monitors exhaust gases, as well as sometimes controling the Automatic Transmission.
