EGR1 - Wikipedia
EGR-1 (Early growth response protein 1) or NGFI-A (nerve growth factor-induced protein A) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the EGR1 gene. EGR-1 is a mammalian transcription factor. It was also named Krox-24, TIS8, and ZENK. It was originally discovered in mice.

2021年11月10日 · Early growth response‐1 (Egr‐1) is a master regulator and transcriptional sensor in vascular dysfunction and disease. This article reviews recent developments in our understanding of the regulatory roles this zinc finger protein and product of an immediate‐early gene plays in a range of cardiovascular and inflammatory disorders.
The Role of the Transcription Factor EGR1 in Cancer
2021年3月24日 · Early growth response factor 1 (EGR1) is a transcription factor that is mainly involved in the processes of tissue injury, immune responses, and fibrosis.
EGR1 early growth response 1 [Homo sapiens (human)] - Gene
2024年11月2日 · The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the EGR family of C2H2-type zinc-finger proteins. It is a nuclear protein and functions as a transcriptional regulator. The products of target genes it activates are required for differentitation and mitogenesis. Studies suggest this is a cancer suppressor gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2014] Expression
