The EMD SD18 is a 6-axle diesel locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division between April 1960 and March 1963. [1] Power was provided by an EMD 567D1 16- cylinder engine which generated 1,800 hp (1.3 MW).

The SD18 was the third model in EMD's six-motored catalog. Outwardly, it was nearly identical to the earlier SD9, including the marker lights' location near the edge of the tapered short hood.

2017年2月2日 · Has anyone ever created a model of an EMD SD-18 in HO scale. I assume this would be a custom job due to the fact that only 114 were ever built and 60 of them were export locomotives.
