Electronic stability program (ESP®) - Bosch Mobility
The electronic stability program (ESP®) supports the driver in nearly all critical driving situations. It comprises the functions of the antilock braking system (ABS) and the traction control system, but can do considerably more.
Electronic stability control - Wikipedia
When ESC detects loss of steering control, it automatically applies the brakes to help steer the vehicle where the driver intends to go. Braking is automatically applied to wheels individually, such as the outer front wheel to counter oversteer , or the inner rear wheel to counter understeer .
ESP ® module - Bosch Mobility
The latest generation of the electronic stability program (ESP ®) is a scalable braking system which offers maximum flexibility in terms of vehicle automation and safety as well as electrified and personalized mobility.

2024年11月8日 · ESP activates in critical driving situations such as obstacle avoidance, sharp turns, and driving on slippery or uneven surfaces, significantly enhancing safety. Key components of ESP include: Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR) Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) Brake Assist (BA)
Electronic Stability Program (ESP) - Bosch Fleet Solutions
2025年3月14日 · The Bosch electronic stability program (ESP) supports the driver in nearly all critical driving situations. It complements the functions of the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and the traction control system but can do considerably more. It detects vehicle skidding movements, and actively counteracts them. This considerably improves driving safety.
The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is a closed-loop system designed to improve ve-hicle handling and braking response through programmed intervention in the braking sys-tem and/or drivetrain. The integrated func-tionality of the ABS prevents the wheels from locking when the brakes are applied, while TCS inhibits wheel spin during acceleration.
Preventing skidding — the Electronic Stability Program ESP®
2016年2月15日 · The reduced engine torque and the rapid braking of the individual wheels helps the driver to avoid accidents due to pulling and skidding, and to stabilize the vehicle. To the extent allowed by the boundaries of physics, this system guides countless vehicles heading for a skid or accident back onto the right track every year.
