EAEA’s annual theme 2025 responds to the evolving education needs of adult learners. EAEA manifesto outlines the challenges where adult education can play a key role. EAEA participates in adult education and learning projects to promote lifelong learning and a more cohesive, sustainable society.

The European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) is a European NGO whose purpose is to link and represent European organisations directly involved in adult learning. The main focus is to promote adult learning and access to and participation in non-formal adult education for all, particularly for groups currently under-represented.

Adult learning and education (ALE) has a significant role to play in flexible learning pathways! In 2025, EAEA will look at how learners, educators and organisations can contribute to change and more inclusive future, and the policy environment that can make their involvement possible.

The new EAEA manifesto 2024 demonstrates how adult learning and education (ALE) can help change lives and transform societies. EAEA proposes, with this manifesto, to create a Learning Europe: a Europe that can shape its future positively and with all the necessary skills, knowledge, and competences.
