2020年1月11日 · To begin with, I’m going to restore this EICO 232 VTVM (Vacuum Tube Volt Meter). EICO was around from 1945 until 1999, and produced equipment in both kit and assembled form. A VTVM will be useful for me for measuring in vacuum tube circuits, as the VTVM is high impedance and won’t load down a circuit the way my trusty Fluke can.

The Eico Model 232 Peak to Peak VTVM (Vacuum Tube Volt Meter) was first introduced in 1954 both as a kit and a complete unit. This meter was revolutionary at the time because it could measure Peak to Peak instead of RMS AC voltage and it's high input impedance, 11 meg DC and 10 meg AC, did not load down the circuit you were measuring.

2015年11月15日 · I am restoring an Eico Model 232, the Uniprobe is in bad shape, its outer case is cracked and held together with electrical tape. It looks like there is a resistor and switch built into the Uniprobe. At which Uniprobe setting should the internal switch be open thereby putting the resistor into the circuit?
