Feb 15, 2017 · The bike is set up fairly lean from the factory already for better emissions. Supposedly you can just add the slip-on without needing the EJK but that was NOT my experience. I melted part of my right turn signal because the exhaust was so hot (lean running engines run hotter). The next day I put on the EJK and the signal didn't melt again.

Aug 27, 2014 · Hi all, I have the two brothers exhaust, modded air box. And my ejk has the factory stage 1 settings. My problem is, my mileage is way down and am still having random stalling on decel. The bike pulls way better but I was curious if anyone had setting suggestions.

Aug 8, 2020 · I believe the EJK is a gen 3 and a few of the others might be gen 3.5. But do we really need to lean out the 250L. Maybe if your combining it with a bigger injector or the 300 ECU or something beyond the norm, you might want to lean it out. I went with the EJK and love the performance increase, along with my custom exhaust and airbox mod.

I think a lot of misinformation is floating around for the 2017+ bikes, maybe because of older YouTube videos that were mostly 2013-2016 CFRLs.

Oct 16, 2020 · Also I have a FMF powercore 4 with the Megabomb header and a Dobeck EJK. It’s running on the stock numbers that the EJK came with. Also running 13/42 gears. I run mostly off road except sometimes when ripping around downtown and turning heads. LOL. It run great but it has stalled out a few times. I haven’t tried adjusting it yet.
