2025年1月10日 · Add-ons are mods, but ESO allows only certain kinds of mods. UI mods are one major use case - think SkyUI or similar mods. You can move around UI elements like resource bars, display buffs and debuffs, have timers or alerts accompany ingame clues, and so on. Or the most useful of all, have a minimap. Another important area are data collection mods.

2023年10月10日 · I'm using my brand new laptop running Windows 11. I have ESO downloaded and it's working great, (except I don't have my addons). I began with Minion, which I used on my last computer, but couldn't get ESO to see them. After a couple days of trying different things I've decided to remove it from the equation and download straight from ESOUI website.

I switched from PC to Ps4, so was able to experience eso with and without Addons. There are a few Addons I really miss: skyshards, lorebooks, and master merchant. The great thing about these 3 Addons is that they save time.

I had to completely delete my ESO folders and redownload the whole game for the patch. Now when I'm looking through my file folders. I don't have a "Live" folder which is where the addons used to be.

Nexus is the source for the Single Player Game mods. Their mod manager is pretty solid too. However, for ESO, Minion and then ESOUI.COM for manual installs. Simple reason, that us where the addons for this game are located.

2020年1月2日 · Utility based addons like wardrobe etc should have been in the game years ago as a core feature, things like DBM (deadly boss mods) or whatever the ESO equivalent is called that water down content, probably shouldn't be at all.
