Estwing Camper's Axe with 16 in. 7 month review
2012年12月19日 · I got the 26" version from my father-in-law's hdwe. store years ago. Like all Estwing tools, the steel is good, but I'd much rather use a wooden hafted tool. My fillings rattled every time the axe made contact with solid wood. Now I keep it in my truck as an emergency tool. I've also had one of the smallest hatchet's Estwing made since I was a kid.

Love for the estwing axe - Bushcraft USA Forums
2021年2月20日 · I love my Estwing 26" campers axe. I have an older one I bought in the early 80's, around here somewhere. I lent it to a friend that leaned it against the back of his block fireplace one evening before starting a fire and it no longer had the rubber handle. I replaced it with a new one about 15 years ago.

Estwing Hatchet (Leather Handle Care & Head) - Bushcraft USA …
2024年3月12日 · I recently retired from the construction trades, and I still have 2 of my Estwing hammers I picked up in the early 1980s, good made in USA quality tools. I have always wanted a Estwing Camper's Axe, really like the Hudson Bay profile. If I didn't already own a half dozen hatchets, I already own one. It is a want, not a need, at least currently.
Estwing Axe Discussion and pics | Bushcraft USA Forums
2020年6月20日 · This thread is about Estwing axes and other small axes (Mora hatchet ; etc.). Discuss whether they are a feasible option in your experience, post pics, mods, have fun. In my limited experience they are good for a lightweight indestructible camp or trail axe. Let me know what you think and be sure to post lots of pics. Thanks
Estwing mods - Bushcraft USA Forums
2014年2月6日 · After searching a bit I noticed that a fair amount of folks use the Estwing hatchets and axes and I had been in the market for one myself recently. Bought this one today and thought it was just a touch lacking. I knew it would have some weight to it with the solid steel construction but found it to be a bit over weight for its size.
Estwing E45A Campers Axe - Bushcraft USA Forums
2011年6月8日 · But, the estwing was a great axe. it was basically indestructible and for 40 bucks it worked well. the only real problems i had with it were that the head was too thin to split wood efficiently and the metal shaft close to the head was to skinny to hold on to for detailed work.
Your opinion of the Estwing sportsman's hatchet?
2010年9月30日 · I have two hatchets and an axe. The two hatchets are Estwing's (camp hatchet, and the camp axe which is really a hatchet), and my axe is an old Snow and Neally Hudson Bay pattern. The Estwing's are great hatchets. I have no issues with their performance at all. Used through 10 years of Boy Scouting with my sons and still use it today.
