2023年10月10日 · The 2023 revised directive raises the EU energy efficiency target, making it binding for EU countries to collectively ensure an additional 11.7% reduction in energy consumption by 2030, compared to the projections of the EU reference scenario 2020.

Energy-related products (ErP) are products that use energy, or that do not use energy but have an indirect impact on energy consumption, such as water using devices, building insulation products, windows, etc. Compared to ErP, energy-using products (EuP) are products which are dependent on energy input (electricity etc.).

The EU’s Energy-Related Products Directive (ErP Directive 2009/125/EC) is an eco-design directive and applies to most products that consume energy throughout their lifecycle – from dishwashers to household electronics, to air conditioners, boilers and much more.

ErP （Energy-Related Products能效指令）是欧洲 CE认证 的四大指令之一，另外三个指令分别是： LVD （安规指令）、 EMC （电磁兼容指令）、 ROHS （有毒有害物质指令）。CE是进口产品到欧盟国家的强制指令，而ErP是从2013年9月1日开始强制实施的。

The Energy-related Products Directive (ErP) 2009/125/EC replaced the Eco-Design Directive (EuP) in November 2009 and impacts all energy-related products sold within the EU. According to the European Commission, an energy-related product is any energy-using product or energy-saving product “having an impact on energy consumption during use."

The European Commission's Ecodesign Directive (2005/32/EC) aims at reducing the environmental impact of energy-related products* (ErPs), including the energy consumption throughout their entire life cycle.

The Ecodesign Directive (Directive 2009/125/EC) [1] of the European Union establishes a framework to set mandatory ecological requirements for energy-using and energy-related products sold in all 27 member states.
