The F44AA Pulse Rifle was an electronic pulse–action assault rifle. Manufactured by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, the rifle was equipped with an aiming assist computer and safety. As of 2142, the F44AA was used by the United States Colonial Marine Corps, and Weyland–Yutani security officers aboard the research station Renaissance.

The AA in F44AA stands for "assisted aiming." A computer IDs a target and manipulates the robotic stock to follow it. But even the fancy Pulse Rifle can't help Rain too much.
