2017年6月24日 · Ford offered this axle as a factory option in F350 4x4 DRW trucks in 2009 and up but it seems to be quite rare. I've found articles that discuss what parts are needed to run a standard 8 lug wheel so it's easy to duplicate what Ford offered from factory using off the shelf parts, but the last question is getting the gear ratio matched to the rear.

2011年3月20日 · I have two F550 front axles one is out of an 08 that I cut the brackets off of with about 70k miles and the 05 axle with 116k miles it just came out of my truck. I found a 4.30 ratio one for mine so I just swapped them out. These can come hub to hub or stripped down. These axles will work with any 05 and up 4x4 250-550.

2016年2月18日 · its a 2005 ford 550 2x4 with the solid fake axle under the front with radius arms and coils . axle code 48 shows 4.88 gears . has 6.0 / 6 speed stick with a pto hydro pump on it. looks like just basicly find the axle and bolt it up in the front and move the radius arm rear mounting point to the other hole position from what I have seen from 2x4 ...
