In this color photo by Mr. Battle, we see Pacífico RSD-5 808 at Alco in Schenectady. FCP eventually owned 35 RSD-5's, numbers 801-135. Mr. Battle took a series of such photos for Ing. Rivera and kept this one for himself. 2: Here we see the pass issued to Mr. Battle by FCP and signed by Ing. Rivera.

I have an Atlas RSD4/5 undec. Its an older unit but surprisingly never run. Its does run. Another great Ebay find for $20.00. ( Just like that brass steeple cab i had posted in an earlier thread.) What RR's owned these RSD4/5 units? And where can i find pics to get details and details placement ideas? Thank you HB90MACH

There have been steady increases since then. More incurred 2019-2023. Just announced was another round starting in July, 2024. Larger orders or special requests are handled on an individual basis.

The ALCO RSD-5 is a diesel-electric locomotive rated at 1,600 horsepower (1.2 MW), that rode on a pair of three-axle trucks, having a C-C wheel arrangement.
