If you must have exact matching, there is really on one solution, have everything coated at the same time in the same color. 2014年12月12日 · Painted my lefty Stag AR last night using Rustoleum Camo. The cap from this paint can matched my B5 stock perfectly, although was not as dark as the MOE+ grip but I was fine with that. While the paint job itself came out great, as you can see, the color ended up quite a bit lighter than I would have liked.

2012年3月20日 · Best paint I've ever used I make up myself. I take hardware store oil-base tractor paint/machine paint and mix it with equal volume of TALCUM {NOT corn starch} Baby Powder and apply with brush, or, to create a disruptive random camoflage pattern, daub it on with torn balled up pieces of paper towel. After drying, this stuff wears like iron.

I would consider a 50 shades of FDE build but with the whole upper matching (receiver, rail, vertical grip all BCM FDE), I'm afraid it will look funny with just a couple of parts not being the same shade. Does anyone know a good match for BCM's FDE? If so I have a BCM lower I'll just paint/have coated.

2010年7月11日 · I looked on Brownells but didn't see and paint other than the cammo paint. I'll look again. I have the Knights panels. The only other panles I'd like are the Magpul XTs. Havent seen any used for sale lately and even then, $6 to paint or $20 to buy different panels. Doesn't look like Knights panels are worth the trouble to ship.

2023年6月22日 · Alumahyde is the toughest with the best colors. It takes forever to cure though unless you pop it in the oven. You also need to clear the nozzle before using the can again. The only source for real FDE spray paint too. It really is worth the extra few bucks but you can’t find it at the local hardware joint. Rapco is awesome.

2022年7月3日 · With Aervoe gone most of the rattle can earth colors suck hard. More at home as your wife’s choice to paint the walls than for a gun. Going forward I’m only going to use Alumahyde.
